AMCON publishes list of 100 "chronic debtors" in Nigeria

Federal Government-owned Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) has published the list of 100 companies with “chronic” debts in Nigeria. AMCON was formed in 2010 under the regime of former president Goodluck Jonathan to “buy” loans being owned by businesses to banks. The corporation after buying the loans, is charged with recovering the interests and debts from the businesses.

So, here is the first 100 chronic debtors in Nigeria according to AMCON:
