The executive governor of Rivers State, Gov. Nyesom Wike has caused controversy online with a handshake known amongst youths as an occultic claw.
Despite looking at the picture that has gone viral on social media, it is seen that the politician locked the handshake with a celebrity, a young, fast rising gospel comedian in the person of Kenny Blaq, and shouldn’t be treated as a brotherhood gesture from the underworld.
Although, the governor, and number one indegene of Rivers state has been in the news for different controversies and bloodshed from unruliness, different reactions have emerged from social media users criticising the governor for blasphemy, and even called a brethren-accusing fellow because of accusations of cultism, the Ikwere indegene lashed at his predecessor, Rotimi Amaechi.
Some other individuals have played down the gestures of occult similarities because the gesture was shared with the beloved entertainer Kenny Blaq. Stating that the comedian couldn’t be in the same cult or brotherhood with the middle aged politician.
