A mentally challenged man killed and beheaded a 70-year-old farmer named Samuel Okiti in Hohoe, Ghana on Tuesday morning. The killer was identified as 56-year-old Emmanuel Kadidze and eyewitness said he didn’t show any sign of remorse after the murder and beheading of the old farmer who was on his way to the farm. He was apprehended, beaten to a pulp before leading people to the scene of the murder after he was seen hanging out with Okiti’s head.
House of Assembly member representing the region Andrews Nkansah told reporters:
“After the heinous crime, the culprit was seen roaming the town with the head of the victim, it took the intervention of construction workers on the Hohoe-Kenyasi road to apprehend the culprit who was later handed over to the Hohoe Police.”
