A woman has caused a scene at a Starbucks store in China after another customer asked her not to put her bare feet on a table. The female customer, who remains unidentified, threw a massive tantrum after a man pointed out her uncivilised behaviour. A social media video shows the woman spitting at the man as she told him ‘it’s none of your business’ in a furious manner.
The incident occurred at a Starbucks branch in Suqian, eastern China’s Jiangsu Province, on July 26, according to Pear Video.
Pear Video said the footage had been provided by an onlooker who captured the unusual scene.
The scorned female customer appeared to be walking around the store with bare feet as she tried to defend herself.
The video also shows a shop worker trying to apologised to the male customer, who was holding a child.
The man, surnamed Xu, told Kan Kan News that he was visiting the store with his daughter that evening.
According to the man, the woman had not looked after her pet dog well in the store and his daughter had been terrified by the animal; furthermore, she put her bare feet on the table as she played on her mobile phone.
Mr Xu said he tried to ask her to mind her pet dog and remove her feet from the table, and the woman suddenly became enraged.
A worker from the Starbucks told Kan Kan News that the staff had tried to ask the woman to put her dog on a leash twice, but the woman had refused.
The worker also said they had tried to prevent the argument between the two customers, but they failed.
The woman has apologised to the man, according to Kan Kan News.
