Niger Delta Avengers: Agip cries out over crude pipeline bombing
The recent bombings of oil equipment in the Niger Delta by a new militant group named Niger Delta Avengers have taken a toll on the oil production of Eni, the parent company of Nigerian Agip Oil Company (NAOC).

An e-mail from the company’s Media Relations officer who spoke to The Guardian stated on Saturday:

“The total deferred production due to the attack is 65,000 barrels of oil equivalent daily. I can confirm that. There is no further impact on production, since all production from the swamp area has already been stopped days ago.”
