 Students to vacate FUTMinna
  A two-week compulsory holiday has been imposed on the students of the Federal University of Technology, Minna, following a full-scale riot that broke out on the heels of the demise of a student, Emmanuel Olalekan in the school’s clinic. The students have lamented poor approach and response on the part of the hospital staff in the past, and the death of Emmanuel may have been the spark for the summary destruction of the school clinic and other facilities.
   On the heels of this, the Acting Academic Secretary, Shakirudeen Yusuf, has ordered through a memo that academic activities are to resume on 2nd March 2017, while students are to vacate the campus from 16 February, to enable them get to the root of the matter.
